TOOWOOMBA Scotsman Michael West McInnes is pulling out his bagpipes and donning traditional highland regiment uniform for the annual Highland Ball this weekend.

Mr West McInnes, who is the Toowoomba Caledonian Society vice president, said there would be plenty of Scottish fun to be had when the society celebrated its 100th year in Toowoomba.

The youngest of the West McInnes clan, Dominic, said he was excited to be able to wear the West McInnes Burberry Burberry Canada Canada tartan at the ball Burberry Canada fo Burberry Canada r the first time, while his brother Kenneth will partner a debutante.

The brothers sister Grace will be presented as a debutante with nine other girls from around the city and not unlike Kate Middleton, the design of her white dress will be kept secret until Saturday night.

Town crier Ralph Cockle, who will be dressed in his own kilt, will officially open the ball, which will feature the newly choreographed procession of the debutantes in their white dresses and tartan sashes.
